Lim Huck Hai has been the Managing Partner for Baker Tilly Consulting in Malaysia since 2018. He heads a team of specialists developing, promoting, and delivering ISO37001 – Anti-Bribery Management System and IT Audit Services. Huck Hai is a Certified Senior Lead Implementer of ISO37001- Anti-Bribery management System and has conducted a number of large scale IT audit and fraud investigation engagements for global clients.
He led a global team of professionals to develop Regulatory Business Plans as well as audit and anti-fraud control frameworks to assist the State Governments to plan for their digital banking operations. He has been actively participating in several large-scale IT audit and anti-fraud engagements. A sample of his IT audit and anti-fraud clients include DTZ, Shell, DHL, HSBC Bank, Telekom Malaysia, Kenanga Investment Bank, Kuwait Finance House, Bank Rakyat, Standard Chartered Bank, Maybank, Companies Commission, and investment management companies.
He was previously an IT audit and Advisory partner of KPMG (2000-2007) and a regional services leader of their IT Advisory practice. He was the Asia Pacific Partner in Charge of Sourcing Services of KPMG and their regional partner for Shell and Duetsche Post World Net, and the First KPMG partner who led and signed off the First WebTrust report for the online banking channels of the largest financial institutions in Malaysia. He was the regional partner in charge of Risk Advisory Services for BDO from the year 2008 till 2014.
Huck Hai is the elected Vice President of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners – Malaysia Chapter, a member of ICAEW Tech Board in London, UK, and an appointed Member of ACFE CFE Exam Content Development Committee in Austin, USA. He was a council member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants in Year 2000 and board member of ISACA – Malaysia Chapter and CPA Australia – Malaysia Division
