Anuarul was extensively involved in the engagement to assist the client in performing IT General Controls Review and ICOFR compliance testing. The engagement also involves providing recommendations for issues noted regarding the IT SOX testing for remediation purposes for the respective functional business owners.

He was the team lead for an ITGC which involved the review of client’s testing work in relation to ICOFR compliance to ascertain the completeness of Internal Audit’s control description, testing procedures and testing results.

He was a member of the client’s ICOFR project management and SOX testing team to co-ordinate with financial audit teams. He was the lead member in performing the SOX Dry Run review on management’s external testers’ results on the fully automated key-controls identified. This was made based on the Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness for key processes identified. In addition to that, he performed a review on management’s external testers’ IT General Controls Review of two different entities as well as performed an independent evaluation on the client’s business processes.
